What are Art Kits?

Think of an Art Kit like a care package for a child’s creativity—packed with dozens of brand-new art materials, all neatly tucked into our signature blue backpacks.

When we began offering virtual programming at the start of the pandemic, we realized that many of the kids we serve didn’t even have pencils at home. We believe that creativity shouldn’t be limited by access to materials, so we launched our Art Kits program to put high-quality art supplies directly into kids’ hands. Each kit is thoughtfully designed to inspire creativity and give kids the tools they need to create fearlessly from anywhere.

We work together with our amazing volunteers and community partners all across the country to make sure Art Kits get into the hands of the kids who need them most—while keeping the process simple and accessible for those who help make it happen.

We coordinate, you assemble!

How it works is simple. We source high-quality art supplies in bulk and have them shipped directly to our volunteers. Once supplies arrive, we provide clear instructions and coordinate with community partners to determine recipients. Then, our volunteers simply assemble and deliver them.

 
 

How You Can Get Involved

Whether you are an individual or an organization looking to contribute, we can work together to get Art Kits to children in need. You can sponsor kits, help assemble and deliver them, or organize a packing event with your community. However you choose to get involved, you’ll be making a direct impact—giving kids the tools to create fearlessly, anytime, anywhere.

A Corporate Art Kit Event is a powerful way for your company to give back while engaging your team in a hands-on volunteer experience. Your company sponsors the kits, and your employees have the option to come together for a volunteer day to assemble them—creating a meaningful impact for kids who need access to art supplies.

Friends and Family Art Kit Party

Looking for a fun and meaningful way to give back? Host a Friends & Family Art Kit Party! It’s a great way to gather your favorite people—whether for a family activity, girl’s night, birthday celebration, or just because—and assemble Art Kits for kids who need them.

There’s no cost to participate, but if you’d like to donate or fundraise to cover the kits, you’re more than welcome to! We’ll provide all the supplies and instructions—you just bring the good vibes and helping hands.
